Handpainted kitchen with beveled doors and granite worktops.

This kitchen was designed for a newly renovated period townhouse so as to be sympathetic to the to the period of the building but also to create a modern, unfussy look capable of dealing with he demands of a young family.

The ‘wish list’ included a large American fridge, 4 oven Aga , ample storage and a large central island unit with seating. The look was achieved by using a mainly neutral pallet of handpainted units with a contrasting island unit and overmantle. The worktops are granite with under mounted sinks, including a preparation sink in the island unit. Clever features such as a pull out bin, trayrack, and spiceracks are all hidden behind the beveled doors. Even the computer is hidden away on pull out shelves to keep the uncluttered look but allowing easy access.
